Cal Santu

Cal Santu is a Catalan country house built in mid XIXth century, in 1848 to be precise. The house was designed by Narcís Moriscot and, throughout the years, until present time, it has been occupied by two generations of this family.

Formerly, Cal Santu was one among the six tenant farms belonging to the same farm, and had two floors for housing purposes and an attached straw loft, also with two floors.

The tenant farmers used around 7 acres of land each and, occasionally, they also worked on the forest.

It must be noted that, until 1998, Cal Santu was lived-in and exclusively related to farming purposes. However, recently, it has undergone extensive restoration works in order to focus it only to rural tourism.

Its recent restoration has perfectly matched elegance and a longtime tradition with the most outstanding modernity.

Surrounded by fields and forests, Cal Santu becomes the perfect accommodation for the guests who wish to keep constantly in touch with nature, however profiting from the comfort provided by its rooms: both floors are fully equipped with heating, TV, washing machine and iron.
